Fragmenta Palaeontologica Hungarica (Fragm. Palaeont. Hung.) is the international, peer-reviewed online scientific journal of the Hungarian Natural History Museum (HNHM). It publishes original papers in the fields of palaeontology, geology and related Earth sciences. It has been published under this name since 2001 (volume 19), as a continuation of Fragmenta Mineralogica et Palaeontologica (1969–1996; volumes 1–18).

The primary aim of the journal is to publish articles related to palaeontological research in Hungary (e.g. author, locality, depository of material, palaeobiogeographical or historical relations). Papers are published in English. Submitted manuscripts will be peer-reviewed by the editor and the editorial board, as well as by national or foreign researchers invited by the editorial board. Priority will be given to works by HNHM researchers and to works on HNHM collections. Only original manuscripts, not submitted to another journal and prepared in accordance with the authors' guidelines, are accepted.
